What grade is "Xingxiangzi"

The first volume of "Xingxiangzi" for ninth grade.

"The Fragrant Trees Circle the Village" is one of the extracurricular ancient poems recited in the first volume of the ninth-grade textbook compiled by the Ministry of Education, written by Qin Guan. This poem was written in the early stages of the author's creation. At that time, Qin Guan was still a high-spirited young man, studying at home and not yet entering an official career. One spring, the author took a pleasure to visit a village and was inspired by the simple and natural scenery of the village, so he composed this poem. The words in the whole poem flow naturally, giving people a sense of brightness, and the joy of admiring spring and praising spring is beyond words.

Notes on words and sentences

1. Xingxiangzi: the name of the word brand. There are sixty-six characters in double tone in the formal style. The first eight sentences are in four flat rhymes, and the last eight sentences are in three flat rhymes. The "Complete Song Ci" of this poem is suspected to be composed by Zhang Yao.

2. Pi (bēi) pond: pond.

3. 徜(cháng) 徉(yáng): a leisurely walk.
