Why do you have to jump off a building to commit suicide when the stock market loses?

My hard-earned money, even living expenses, pension expenses, children's education expenses, and even borrowing usury or relatives' money to buy stocks, all the money is gone in an instant, and I really can't bear it without strong psychology.
