At the time of the incident, five men from Northeast China and two men from Guizhou, 1 female, had an altercation on the side of the road, and then there was a physical conflict. A Guizhou man took out a nail clipper and scratched his arm and thigh, which was the first time that a man was injured and bleeding on the Internet. Fighting caused 1 person to be slightly injured, 2 people were slightly injured, and 3 people were criminally detained according to law.

The fight has come to an end, but the online rumors caused by it have attracted the attention of changshou road police station. According to police investigation, the above picture of Weibo Zhongzheng (female, Shanghainese) is actually a "body double Flower", which was not taken in a fight scene in changshou road, but an online picture from a criminal case in Hubei. Another Zhang (female, from Fujian), who spread rumors on Weibo, was at home on the day of the incident and knew nothing about the scene. Besides, Zheng He and Zhang didn't know each other.

According to Article 25 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Public Security Administration Punishment, anyone who spreads rumors, falsely reports dangerous situations, epidemic situations or police situations or intentionally disturbs public order by other means, if the circumstances are relatively minor, shall be detained for not more than five days or fined not more than 500 yuan. Accordingly, the police imposed a three-day administrative detention on Zhang. The police criticized Zheng for taking the initiative to surrender and actively cooperating with the investigation.
