Dalian Jiaotong University, located in Dalian, Liaoning Province, is a university jointly established by the people's government of Liaoning Province, the former people of China and the Ministry of Railways of China. It is a key construction university of first-class universities in Liaoning Province, and has the qualification of recommending excellent fresh graduates to study for graduate students without examination. It is the first batch of pilot colleges and universities, the national international training base for software talents (Dalian), the innovative experimental zone of national talent training mode, the national high-level sports team colleges and sports culture research bases, the innovative talent training experimental base of China-US talent training plan 12 1 project, the China government scholarship receiving institutions for overseas students in China, and the emergency management college. Dalian Jiaotong University was founded in June 1956, when it was Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Manufacturing School. 1958 was upgraded to Dalian Railway Institute, under the management of the former Ministry of Railways; In February 2000, it was handed over to the Liaoning provincial government for management, and the management system of "joint construction between the central and local governments, focusing on local management" was implemented; In May 2004, it was renamed Dalian Jiaotong University with the approval of the Ministry of Education.
