How to control the phytotoxicity of herbicides in rice?

After entering the Meiyu period every year, there are many rainy weather processes and frequent rainstorms in our province. Such weather conditions not only affect the normal operation and control effect of chemical weeding of rice, but also increase the risk of phytotoxicity. Farmers and dealers are talking about the discoloration of grass, so the problem of weeding is very complicated. Recently, the author communicated with many large growers and plant protection experts, and learned that the occurrence of herbicide damage in rice fields every year is mainly due to the following factors.

Cause analysis of chemical herbicide damage in paddy field? The loss of remedy for drug injury is small, how to remedy it?

1, blindly increase the dosage.

Due to the influence of rainy weather, the planting methods can't be cleaned and changed in time, especially the appearance of wheat interplanting, which leads to the old rice seedlings. In order to improve the control effect, blindly increase the dosage or re-spray the medicine, which leads to the occurrence of phytotoxicity. In addition, the drug resistance of weeds is getting stronger and stronger, which leads to the overuse of herbicides and the emergence of phytotoxicity! Because of the drug resistance of weeds, farmers are also helpless, so they constantly mix various pesticides, hoping to achieve the purpose of efficient weeding, but once used improperly, it is easy to produce phytotoxicity!

2. The drainage in the field is not smooth or timely, and there is no timely backwater after application.

After 24-48 hours of chemical weeding in rice fields, water will flow back, which plays a particularly important role in weeding. When the temperature rises gradually, it must be rehydrated within 48 hours after chemical weeding. Backwater can promote the rapid death of weeds. If there is no backwater after application, the roots of weeds will continue to grow and new leaves may die and regenerate. When we water in the opposite direction, the roots of weeds are in an anaerobic state and will soon die. If the water layer is well protected, it can inhibit the germination of weeds in the later stage.

3. The selection of herbicides is unreasonable.

In order to control the old malignant gramineous weeds in the field, we chose oxazole which was not registered in rice, but the dosage was not well controlled during the use, which led to phytotoxicity. At the same time, the hot herbicide in recent two years, commonly known as cyhalothrin, takes different contents as carriers. Farmers and friends of "full-effect" pesticides must be careful when choosing them, so as not to lead to ineffective weeding because of shoddy, and the harm of excessive pesticides will be very serious! It is recommended to choose a regular big company!
