How to add phrases in sogou input method

1. Right-click the input method on the taskbar in the lower right corner of the desktop.

2. After right-clicking the input method, a drop-down menu will appear. Move the mouse to find the setting in the drop-down menu, and then click the setting with the mouse.

3. After clicking "Settings", a text service and input language window will appear. Click the installed Sogou Pinyin Input Method in the installed service at the top of the window, and click Properties with the mouse.

4. Click the Properties button, and the Sogou Pinyin Input Method Settings window will appear. Click the Advanced button on the left side of the window.

5. Click the Advanced button, and then click the Custom Phrase Settings button on the right side of the Sogou Pinyin Input Method Settings window.

6. Click the Custom Phrase Settings button to open the Custom Phrase Settings window, and then click the Select Add New Definition button on the window.

7. After clicking the Add New Definition button, the Add Custom Phrase window will appear. The abbreviation of the phrase entered at the top of the window is generally the pinyin initials of the first two words of the phrase. In the candidate position of the input phrase, enter the phrase into the input field below the Add Custom Phrase window, and then click OK to add it.

8. Click OK to add, return to the custom phrase setting window, and click the Save button at the bottom of the window.
