Do boys really fail to see the thoughtfulness of girls?

Some boys really can't see the girl's mind, and some boys pretend not to know.

When I was in college, I had a very good friend of the opposite sex. She always asks me out shopping, invites me out for dinner, and sometimes we even spend the night together.

But I really just regard her as a friend, and I never thought that the relationship between the two people needs to go further. I think at that time, my emotional intelligence must be so low that I really didn't see her little thoughts, so that an emotion that I didn't dislike slipped away in front of me.

Maybe girls really shouldn't overestimate the emotional intelligence of boys. Every boy needs time to grow up, and you'll never guess what stage he is in now.
