How to distinguish high and low pressure cylinders of steam turbines

The working parameters of high-pressure cylinder and low-pressure cylinder are different, and the requirements for turbine processing materials are also different.

Low pressure cylinder: installed behind the connecting bolt on the vertical joint surface of the whole cylinder. From the appearance, there are two vacuum breaking doors on the low pressure cylinder.

High pressure cylinder: installed in front of the connecting bolt on the vertical joint surface of the whole cylinder, there is a horizontal connecting bolt hole on the cylinder side of the high pressure cylinder.
