What are some things that you know are superstitious but are unable to refute?

There are really many things in life. Although we know that they are superstitious, we are not only unable to refute them, but sometimes we have no choice but to go with the flow.

I will give you three examples of my own to share with you.

The first example: ‘call a call’.

My baby was born in 2013. One hundred days later, the weather was very nice, so I went out for a walk with my baby in my arms. Since I haven’t been to a shopping mall for a long time, I took a look around. Maybe there were a lot of people in the mall and the baby was a little timid and was a little frightened. After returning home, I always cry and stay awake, especially at night when I fall asleep and wake up crying. The mother-in-law said she was frightened and wanted to 'call you', like when the baby comes home and your mother plays with you.

Because the baby was too small, I really didn’t want to give him medicine, so I had to follow my mother-in-law’s advice to ‘call him’. It turned out to be really effective. The baby stopped crying in the middle of the night and slept peacefully. I really couldn't argue with it.

The second example: Feng Shui about the bed.

After the baby was born, the number of things in the house increased rapidly. There was no place to put a lot of things like milk powder and diapers that needed a lot of regular supplies, so I bought a few organizing boxes and packed them. Put it under the bed.

When my husband found out, he showed me a home feng shui book written by a feng shui master, saying that placing clutter under the bed would affect the relationship between the couple. After much thought, I decided to put it somewhere else. After all, if dust accumulates under the bed due to debris, it will also cause harm to the health of your family.

So from this point of view, I am also unable to refute, so I can only do it.

The third example: it’s moving day.

My husband prefers to study traditional culture and often reads books such as the Book of Changes and the Almanac. When my family moved, he calculated the date based on the almanac and birth dates, and finally decided on the specific time.

It was autumn, and it rained all the time, so I suppressed my jokes and became superstitious. As a result, on the morning of the move, although the sky was still overcast, it didn’t rain. Waiting for the moving company to finish moving everything, light rain started to fall at noon.

For this reason, my husband has been stinking in front of me for a long time. I wanted to refute but was powerless.
