Painting, which I have always loved, brings nothing but life to me. In addition to the fulfillment and happiness, I also gained a group of lovely friends who like painting. Mulan's hand-painted communication group has gathered more than a hundred friends who like painting in a few months. I would like to express my special thanks to everyone for their trust.

I also strive to provide you with a better platform to express yourself and help you connect with more people on the same channel. Maybe these people may become rare friends in our lives.

Looking back on 2021, Mulan has opened three phases and seven online courses. The first time the course was launched, there were many shortcomings. I would like to thank my friends for their trust and support. The happiest thing is to see everyone’s progress. Whether it is to fulfill the previous dream of painting or to continue painting, in short, we meet at the right time and accompany each other on the road of painting.

For this year’s annual homework exhibition, I invited friends who are excellent in painting to participate in this event. Everyone has a different starting point. Some have some basic skills, and the quality of the completed work will be better. Some have no basic knowledge, and the completed work is not that good. But in my heart, being able to actively complete homework and draw with heart are the best. Maybe my painting is not good enough now, but as long as I persist, time will be the best proof. I also believe that each of us can get better and better on the road of painting.

Some paintings are very good, but they are unable to participate due to other reasons. Mulan hopes to hold it every year to give all friends who like painting a grand sense of ceremony and encourage them to go further on the road of painting. The further away~?

Around June 2021, a landscape was posted on The painting is stunning. The author introduced that there are also free live classes. So, I met Teacher Mulan.

After watching two live classes, I signed up for Teacher Mulan’s first colored lead landscape class without hesitation. I imagined that I could draw such beautiful and delicate colored pencil paintings like Teacher Mulan. But actually operating it is far from that easy.

As a novice with zero basic knowledge, I couldn’t even draw a simple line straight at first. Teacher Mulan seems to understand a novice like me very well. There are several sketching lessons before the main class begins, with simple explanations of color knowledge and a requirement of 10 minutes of line practice every day. ?

I clearly remember that the first colored pencil painting was the sunset. I spent the entire afternoon on the one-hour video course. Looking back now, I can't bear to see it. Teacher Mulan pointed out in detail which part and how to modify it. After polishing it again and again, the first "work" was finally completed.

When I feel disappointed and want to give up, Teacher Mulan always praises and encourages me; and for each specific assignment, the teacher is so serious.

?In this way, I started my class in July, and was delayed for two months due to moving. The first class graduated in October. Then I applied for the second period, and later started the third period. We are now halfway through the third phase. Teacher Mulan said that my progress is visible. I shamelessly posted a few pictures that seemed passable to my friends circle, which attracted the admiration and envy of my friends.

I have been learning colored pencil for 6 months. I got discouraged and wanted to give up, but I persisted. From forcing myself to sit in front of the drawing table to being willing to sit in front of the drawing table, now I feel a little bit enjoying sitting in front of the desk.

I also have a little sensitivity to color now. Whether you see a painting or an object, your first reaction is what color should be used to paint it.

After getting to know Teacher Mulan and having the company of painting, my daily life is very fulfilling; it can even be said that I feel lucky because of painting

When I first signed up, teacher Mulan asked me why I wanted to learn painting, and I said to prevent Alzheimer’s disease in advance. Then we both laughed and started my painting class happily.

One year, three courses, 100 paintings, I couldn’t believe it, I persisted, the reason is that the content of the course is very good, I like it very much, Teacher Mulan is very good, and the explanations are detailed enough , and more importantly, she did not act like a teacher. At the beginning, a painting had to be revised many times. Teacher Mulan never got annoyed. She was really comfortable getting along with Teacher Mulan.

I started learning painting as a novice. Teacher Mulan often calls me Sister Jingmo. She always says that we are all people who like to paint and walk together on the road of painting. She is just He only painted a few more years than me. I just asked whatever I didn’t understand, and she answered everything for me one by one. She insisted that I should thank Teacher Mulan and that my grades should also be attributed to Teacher Mulan.

What an honor it is to meet a teacher who is both a teacher and a friend. Teacher Mulan also repeatedly emphasized that painting is a happy thing, and you can do what you like happily. I also met many friends on the road of painting, and they also share interesting things in life, and the touches in life. Walking along the way, painting along the way, discovering beauty along the way, happiness is nothing more than this.

If you don’t have any kind of persistence, you will be let down.

I have been busy this year. I like to draw but I don’t have time to draw. I don’t have much time to squeeze out in a year. By chance When I saw Teacher Mulan's colored pencil works, I was immediately attracted, and then I started painting. Teacher Mulan is a nice person and teaches very well. I also learned a lot from her. My feelings about painting are:

1. You must keep painting, even if the time is longer.

2. The drawing must be complete, so that you can know where the shortcomings are. All that’s left is to observe more and practice more

I’ve always wanted to learn to draw, but I’m a novice at painting and don’t know where to start. I don’t dare to consult those painting bloggers on the Internet for fear of not understanding anything and being laughed at.

Until I met Teacher Mulan and saw a course opening post she posted, I went to consult and joined. It was better than I imagined. She is patient and meticulous, and all the knowledge points and skills are covered. It means knowing everything and saying everything.

Due to personal time reasons, I often draw intermittently, and I am afraid that the teacher will give up, but she is always there, and every encouragement is the motivation to continue moving forward.

I work alone and take care of a child in kindergarten. The father of the child is also out of town. There is no one to help me. I always feel that there is not enough time and energy, but I don’t want to live completely in the role of mother. Chicken In the days of flying dogs, I still hope to find a quiet little world of my own, and painting has always been my inner desire.

It started very late and the process is very slow, but I will persevere in my own way and at my own pace. I hope my love will last as long as the years go by.

Ever since I met Mulan online, I fell in love with her teacher’s style, which is beautiful and pure, and she keeps working hard and persevering. Learning is an example for me to follow.

I have been studying painting for many years and have painted different painting materials and themes, but I have never tried to use colored pencils to paint landscapes. When Teacher Mulan started an online course on colored pencil landscape, she signed up for the colored pencil landscape course with the mentality of trying and challenging herself.

It turned out not to be as difficult as I thought, very friendly and kind. The course carefully designed by the teacher covers a lot of basic knowledge of painting from shallow to deep. It is very suitable for zero-based learning and also very suitable for advanced study with a basic foundation.

The study of this colored pencil landscape course has benefited me a lot. I have learned new skills and techniques, and slowly cultivated my patience and calm attitude. Every piece of work is pleasing to the eye. The teacher is approachable and always answers all questions. The students also encourage and help each other, persevering and progressing together on the road of painting art.
