How to write nature notes?

A complete nature note includes

Time, place, weather, recorder, theme, text and pictures.

Time: It is our time to observe nature this time. Phenology is different in different years and seasons, so recording time is helpful to carry out comparative research.

Location:

Recording the position not only helps to find the law, but also helps yourself or others to find the position again for observation. Different species in different regions and the same species in different regions have different phenotypes or behaviors.

weather

The natural phenomena under different weather conditions are very different, and only by recording them can we summarize and discover the laws.

recorder

Like scientific observation, natural notes are objective observation records of the natural world, but under the influence of people themselves, everyone's notes are subjective. According to the recorder, we can make a basic judgment on the objectivity of the notes, or we can contact the recorder for further communication.

theme

A theme is a summary of the contents of natural notes, and the title of the theme should be cool enough to attract readers at the first time. It is better that the subject is not the scientific name of the observed object. For example: magical ryegrass, climbing experts in plants, etc.

Words are the main body of natural notes. As long as we observe nature from multiple angles by using various senses such as vision, touch, smell and hearing, we can get a lot of observation contents to record. The description of natural phenomena should be as objective as possible without any exaggeration. Due to the lack of professional vocabulary, metaphor can be used to describe features or phenomena. Pinyin can be used for words that can't be written to encourage students to write. Emotional statements and unfounded guesses can't appear in natural notes, such as "the grass is so green because it has been honed in the cold winter" and "the plumeria has no elegant temperament and noble fragrance ...". It does not belong to the phenomena observed at that time, such as "Iris is the national flower of Germany" and "the surface temperature of the sun is 6000℃" or the results of measurement, statistics and experiments at that time.

Pictures are a supplement to written descriptions and an intuitive presentation of natural phenomena. Pictures should be as realistic and objective as possible, and should not be exaggerated, exaggerated or abstract. There must be scale or size data of natural objects in the picture, and no scale can be estimated by fingers, pens, footsteps, trees, buildings, etc. For the details of natural objects, you should use "enlarged pictures" to display them. There should be no impersonal depictions such as cartoon modeling in the picture, and there should be no operations such as painting eyes on fruits and lace on leaves to gild the lily. There is no need for artistic rendering effects such as background colors and shadows.
