Speaking of dreams, in fact, there are dreams as big as a country, as small as an individual, and as specific as a city. Let’s talk about the changes in the 15 years since I came to Chengdu and the changes in Chengdu’s dream. I came to Chengdu for the first time in 2007. Chengdu at that time was really different from what it is now. The changes were huge and earth-shaking... The Second Ring Road in Chengdu at that time was not much different from the earliest township roads. There is a small bungalow on the first floor, but there is no elevated expressway now, let alone a subway. At that time, Chengdu’s external slogan was: Chengdu is a city you don’t want to leave once you’ve arrived. This slogan was widely circulated when Zhang Yimou was invited to shoot a city promotional video for Chengdu. Chengdu originally had this kind of fun, so it was later nicknamed by others: Chengdu is a city that you can’t leave once you come, and many interesting things happened in the middle. With the rapid development of Chengdu in the past 10 years, especially the hosting of the 31st National University Games. Chengdu is now being promoted to the outside world. The slogans everywhere are: Chengdu, make your dreams come true. The Universiade will open on June 26 this year, which is still three months away. The venue for the Universiade has just been handed over to the organizing committee. The recently rehearsed programs have begun to be practiced there. We look forward to it. I believe that after this Universiade, Chengdu will achieve its dreams and it will be more deeply rooted in people's hearts.

The reason why I chose such a topic for this writing was that I felt a lot of emotion after reading it. Now Chengdu is a new first-tier city, and more and more people are coming to Chengdu. Many people also call themselves Rongpiao. Indeed, it has allowed many people who have not realized their dreams in first-tier cities such as Beipiao and Shenzhen to come to Chengdu to realize their dreams.
