Jiangsu Changzhou No. 1 Middle School is favored and has obtained 13 places in Tsinghua University

It was learned from Changzhou No. 1 Middle School that so far, the school has obtained 13 places for Tsinghua University in 2012. According to reports, the Ministry of Education has reduced the number of independent enrollment places in major universities. The good growth potential of students from this school after entering colleges and universities ensures that the number of independent enrollment places recommended by schools will not decrease but increase.

It is understood that Tsinghua University first gave the school a "Leading Talent" quota in 2012, and then pre-admitted Ni Bin, who won the gold medal in the National Chemistry Finals, with preferential conditions for professional selection. Then, 2 more recommended student places and 9 independent enrollment places were given, making the total number 13.

At the same time, Fudan University has given one quota each to "directly recommended students" and "recommended outstanding students" from No. 1 Middle School in the city, as well as 12 independent enrollment quotas.

At present, the school’s senior high school students have independently recruited more than 260 students who have obtained school-recommended qualifications.
