Introduction to Wuxi Vocational and Technical College Wuxi Vocational and Technical College is a full-time general institution of higher learning under the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Education, located in Yixing, Tao Dou, which is beautiful, rich and outstanding. The college has a long history and profound cultural heritage. Its predecessor was Taodou University of Technology founded by 1958. In 1959, it was reorganized into Yixing Ceramic Industrial School in Jiangsu Province, and its origin can be traced back to Yixing Ceramic Vocational School in Jiangsu Province, which was founded in 1933. 1985 was renamed Yixing Light Industry School in Jiangsu Province, and was upgraded to Wuxi Vocational and Technical College in 2004.
