7. Clinical manifestations

1. Chronic schistosomiasis: cercarial dermatitis can occur after 2 days of contact with infected water/kloc-0. Generally, there are no obvious symptoms, and a few have mild hepatosplenomegaly. If the infection is serious, diarrhea, abdominal pain, mucus and bloody stool may occur. The patient has different degrees of emaciation and fatigue.

2. Acute schistosomiasis: the average incubation period is 40 days, and most of them are between 3 weeks and 2 months. More than half of patients with acute schistosomiasis have abdominal pain and diarrhea, and 10% patients have purulent bloody stools. Diarrhea is not frequent, or it lasts for a long time, or it breaks out intermittently. The duration varies from a few days to several months. Diarrhea often occurs within 2 months after contact with epidemic water. The stool is thin and thin; There are also cases of diarrhea similar to dysentery, accompanied by acute diarrhea and a lot of feces with blood and mucus. In addition, there are pulmonary symptoms, such as fever, urticaria, angioneurotic edema, hepatosplenomegaly and lymphadenopathy, cough, asthma and chest pain.

3. Advanced schistosomiasis: According to clinical symptoms, it can be divided into four types, namely, splenomegaly, ascites, colon hyperplasia and dwarf.
