Where is Longmen Village located?

Longmen Village is located in the south of Daping Township, adjacent to Chuandong Village to the east and northeast, Yayang Township of Cengong County to the south, Tongluo Village to the west, and Daping Village to the north. Area is 13.72 square kilometers. The village has jurisdiction over 9 village groups: Longmenjiang, Aibangou, Shanmulin, Longyuan, Luojiapo, Wanjiachong upper and lower groups, Laishuwan and Daposhang. In 2003, there were 336 rural households and a rural population of 1,316. The majority of the population are Dong, Tujia and Miao. There are 250 poor people, mainly distributed in Longmenjiang, Wanjiachong, Aibangou, Shamulin, Longyuan, Daposhang and Luojiapo village groups. The village committee is located in Longmen Village Primary School.

There is a small stream running through the village in Longmen Village, which solves the irrigation problem of some farmland in the village. In 2003, the effective irrigated area of ??cultivated land was 38.9 hectares, and the area of ??guaranteed harvest due to drought and flood was 37.4 hectares.
