Visiting the Longtan Lake Temple Fair composition

On the first day of the Lunar New Year, my parents took me to visit the temple fair in Chaoyang Park in Beijing.

When we arrived at Chaoyang Park, we saw colorful flags fluttering at the gate and many sheep statues. I also took a photo with a fat little lamb. We followed the crowd into the park. Wow! It is decorated with various windmills and full of happy people. Some people are playing with windmills, some are watching performances, some are tasting various snacks, and some are participating in various games and activities.

My father, mother and I came to the game area, where there are many game facilities. I saw a very tall pyramid climbing model filled with air, and some children were climbing to the top of the pyramid. There was a girl in the upper part of the pyramid who was so frightened that she cried "Daddy" and her shoes fell off. It was an uncle who rescued her. We passed by a balloon booth with prizes. Dad shot 10 times, hit 8 balloons, and won a prize.

I thought the spinning pulley was quite fun, so I asked my dad to take me to play. Dad bought the tickets and we waited in line for a while before getting on the pulley. We got in the car and fastened our seat belts. The scooter rattled upwards into the air, and my mother even took photos of us. I thought it was quite fun at first, but after reaching the air, the pulley started to rotate violently, turning left and right, climbing to a high altitude and then suddenly sliding to a low altitude. I was so scared that I turned pale and lost my soul. Dad kept comforting me, and the pulley occasionally stopped for a while, so I wasn't afraid anymore. The spinning trolley finally reached the end, which I felt was really thrilling.

Then, my father, mother and I went to play bumper cars again. I wanted to drive a bumper car myself, and my father asked an uncle: "What are the pedals under my feet for?" It turned out to be charging. I was too young to reach the pedals, so I sat on my father’s bumper car. I asked my father to collide with my mother's car. However, he either collided with this uncle or with that aunt, but he couldn't touch my mother's car. I thought: "This car is really annoying. Why didn't it collide with my mother's car? It would be better if I took another car." I saw my mother's car always spinning outside and couldn't get in the middle. My dad's and I's cars sometimes hit the railings. I felt that the time was up before we had finished playing, and my father and I had to get off the bumper car.

We also watched the catapult game. A little girl was so frightened that she cried "Daddy" after being launched into the air. A little boy was thrown high into the air and turned somersault. He was not afraid. I think he is so brave!

My mother always wanted to go home. My father and I were about to go home when we saw the puppet show "Little Red Riding Hood" being performed on the stage. Many adults brought their children to watch, and my father let me sit on his shoulders to watch the show. Little Red Riding Hood told the Big Bad Wolf everything about her grandmother's house. As a result, the Big Bad Wolf ate both Grandma and Little Red Riding Hood. We cannot learn from Little Red Riding Hood and tell others everything.

After watching the puppet show, I took a photo with a clown and then went home. I had so much fun today!

I went home for the May Day holiday, and there happened to be a temple fair in the village. Nothing happened at noon. The mother and daughter went to visit the temple fair.

Seventeen years have passed, and things have changed.

Since I left the village, I have never visited a temple fair and have almost forgotten about it. Today, it reminds me of my childhood visits to temple fairs.

At that time, life at home was very difficult. Visiting the temple fair was the happiest and happiest day of my childhood. At every temple fair, my mother would give me a penny and buy whatever you wanted to eat. One penny, three old sugar pimples the size of a penny, and two rice krispie treats the size of ping pong balls.

Very sweet and fragrant.

I remember a very luxurious time, my mother actually gave us 2 cents each. I was so happy that I jumped three feet high and took my brothers and sisters to the temple fair happily. .

The temple fair is very lively. There are opera singers, a variety of special snacks, and various agricultural and sideline products for sale... people riding horses, pulling donkeys, handcarts, carriages, and bicycles owned by wealthy people... People are coming and going, and there is a lot of traffic. .

The three of us, siblings, were like happy birds flying out of their cages, looking here and there. We were curious about everything, and we would never give up until we had a closer look.

It wasn’t until I was tired and hungry, and the temple fair was about to end, that I thought about how to spend the money my mother gave me. At that time, there was only one boy in the family, my younger brother. In rural areas, boys are the most valuable treasures of grandparents and parents, and my younger brother is no exception.

Ask the younger brothers and sisters what they want to eat. My brother wants to eat this, and my younger sister wants to eat that. But my mother only gave each person 2 cents. What should I buy? I said, if you keep fighting, you won’t be able to eat anything. I’ll take the original 6 cents back! My brothers and sisters were silent, and finally they had no choice but to say to me, sister, it’s up to you, you can buy whatever you want to eat. Ha, I also took advantage of being the boss for once.

I said to my brother, I will buy you a fried cake for 5 cents, and the remaining 1 cent will be a rice krispie treat for each of us. The brothers and sisters happily agreed with this arrangement.

My sister devoured her rice krispie treats in one bite! Then he stared at the fried cake in his brother's hand. But the younger brother only focused on tasting his fried cake slowly, bite by bite, without even looking at his sister. Seeing my sister's slanderous look, I said to my brother, let your second sister take a bite of your fried cake. When he reacted, he hid the hand holding the fried cake straight back. He just refused to give it and still complained. Seeing that my sister was about to burst into tears, I had no choice but to take out my rice krispie treats and give them to my brother. Only then did my brother agree to let my sister take a bite of the fried cake.

"Sister, just take a small bite, don't bite my fingers."

My sister happily agreed...

"Mom, I want it Have a drink." My daughter shook my arm.

"Let's go, grandma will buy it for you." Without waiting for my answer, my mother led her daughter and turned around to buy it.

Nowadays, there are no rice krispie treats, and there are no more candy-blowing people. Some of them were things I couldn’t name. My daughter stood aside and told me seriously, what is this and what is that.

Time is not forgiving, and the past is hard to look back on.

At the temple fair, old and new operas are sung in turn; Yangko and lions are performed together; you finish singing and I will appear on the stage. How lively!

On the stage, someone appeared again, and it was a Qin opera acapella.

I haven’t heard this kind Qin Yin for a long time. Standing in the crowd, under the scorching sun, I felt comfortable listening to this long-lost and familiar local accent. In his ears, a bold and loud laughter came. It turned out that he was amused by the actions of the man on the stage.

Looking at that man, I couldn’t help but be infected by his smile, and laughed happily.
