Can individuals fly the national flag or other national emblems?

There is no rule for individuals to fly the national flag. Generally, not flying the national flag will not be investigated in any humiliating way. However, the national emblem is not good. Without permission, no organization, unit or individual may release it.

Article 3 of the National Flag Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) National Flag of the People's Republic of China is the symbol and symbol of People's Republic of China (PRC).

Every citizen and organization should respect and care for the national flag.

Article 17 A damaged, defaced, faded or substandard national flag shall not be hoisted.

Article 18 The national flag and its design shall not be used as trademarks or advertisements, and shall not be used for private funeral activities.

Article 19 Whoever intentionally insults the people and the national flag of China by burning, damaging, scribbling, defileing or trampling in public places shall be investigated for criminal responsibility according to law; If the circumstances are relatively minor, the public security organ shall refer to the punishment provisions of the Regulations on Administrative Penalties for Public Security and impose a detention of not more than fifteen days.
