Article 2 These Provisions shall apply to state organs, social organizations, enterprises and institutions, grassroots mass autonomous organizations and citizens within the administrative area of this Municipality. Article 3 The number, scope, time and requirements of annual conscription in this Municipality shall be implemented in accordance with the conscription orders of the provincial people's government and the provincial military region. Article 4 The Municipal People's Government and the Ningbo Military Division shall lead the conscription work in this Municipality. The conscription office of the Municipal People's Government is responsible for the conscription work in the whole city.

(3) Male citizens between the ages of 18 and 25, when seeking employment (including temporary employment), recruitment, entrance examination, application for leaving the country, and application for business license, business certificate for going out to work or other professional certificates, shall present the Compulsory Certificate for Civil Military Service to the relevant departments or units. The relevant departments or units shall not handle the above procedures for those who fail to produce the "Certificate of Compulsory Military Service for Citizens" and "Certificate of Compulsory Military Service for Citizens" without military service registration or refusing to take military service registration. Eighth school-age citizens must carry their resident identity cards and academic certificates or "Citizens' Compulsory Military Service Certificate" to the designated place in military service registration within the prescribed time limit every year to fulfill the procedures of military service registration.
