You can apply for a Beijing entry permit at the 2021 checkpoint.

The Beijing Entry Permit refers to a temporary pass for non-Beijing-licensed motor vehicles from outside Beijing to enter within the Sixth Ring Road (excluding) and certain sections outside the Sixth Ring Road. It is valid for 7 days.

The online application process for Beijing Entry Permit is as follows:

1. Download the "Beijing Traffic Police" APP and click to enter "Beijing Entry Permit Application";

2. Click "+" to add a vehicle;

3. After adding a vehicle, click "Apply for a Permit";

4. Select the "Beijing Entry Permit" type (within the Sixth Ring Road or outside the Sixth Ring Road) ;

5. Fill in the driver, companions, entry to Beijing and other relevant information and submit;

6. After passing the review, the certificate can be viewed on the homepage or in the electronic certificate.

"Notice on Adopting Traffic Management Measures for Some Passenger Vehicles" The first one enters the roads within the Sixth Ring Road (excluding) and the roads in Tongzhou District (excluding main expressway roads) , you must apply for a pass to enter Beijing. Article 3 The following passenger vehicles with license plates (including temporary license plates) issued by other provinces, districts and cities do not need to apply for a Beijing entry pass when entering the above-mentioned range:

(1) ) Inter-provincial long-distance passenger buses and inter-provincial tourist passenger buses that have received out-of-town passenger transport passes;

(2) Military and armed police vehicles and special vehicles such as police cars and ambulances performing tasks.
