1. Leaders attach great importance to and continuously increase work efforts

Since the county party committee and county government proposed the "ecological county establishment" " and "Cultural Nanxi River" strategic decisions to strengthen the ecological construction of Nanxi River, party committees and governments at all levels have attached great importance to this work. The county government has invested heavily in relocating and closing polluting enterprises in the middle and upper reaches of the Nanxi River, and has taken many measures to protect and build the ecology of the Nanxi River. At present, the county's forest coverage rate reaches 69.7, and the water quality of Nanxi River remains within the national Class II water standard. On December 4, 2002, the town passed the inspection and acceptance by the municipal government and became the first municipal ecological demonstration town in our county. At present, the bureau has identified a main leader to be responsible for garbage cleaning and disposal in pilot towns and villages, and to help relevant towns and villages build infrastructure such as garbage dumps and garbage dump sewage treatment tanks.

The County Agricultural Bureau has completed the investigation of non-point sources of rural pollution in the county, and is strengthening agricultural law enforcement management. It strictly prohibits the use of highly toxic and high-residue pesticides, advocates increasing the application of organic fertilizers, reducing the amount of chemical fertilizers, and guiding and promoting the production of non-toxic pesticides. In order to protect the Nanxi River, the two village committees included environmental protection in the village residents' covenants, implemented strict rewards and punishments, and regarded environmental protection as a long-term task of the village. The two committees of the village held a meeting and decided: First, increase environmental protection publicity to make every villager consciously protect the environment. The second is to determine a dedicated person to be responsible for cleaning the main roads in the village. Third, villagers are strictly prohibited from dumping garbage and feces into the river. Violators will be severely fined, with a maximum fine of 500 yuan.

Jiaxi Village in Pankeng Township is located in the upper reaches of Danan River and is rich in tourism natural resources and human resources. However, the dirty, chaotic and poor environment greatly affects the mood of tourists visiting the village. Every village in Yantan Town has formulated village regulations on environmental sanitation based on reality. Nowadays, there are no more woolly pigs for the villagers to graze, and there are fewer open-air manure pits. The town and village regularly organize personnel to clean up garbage in the beach forest along the Nanxi River. II. Although various localities have achieved certain results in implementing the strategies of "ecological county establishment" and "cultural Nanxi River" and strengthening the ecological construction of Nanxi River, there are still many difficulties and problems.

1. Old concepts and sloppy habits are common problems encountered in ecological construction in underdeveloped areas

Pig farmers not only used biogas for cooking and boiling water, saving firewood and gas bills, but also because pig excrement was treated harmlessly as fertilizer, flies were greatly reduced and odor was reduced. Can't smell it anymore. The environment of the villagers has been greatly improved, biogas fertilizer is applied to crops, and the quality of agricultural products has been significantly improved. Zhu Rongxi, a pig farmer, said: "Biogas digesters are indeed good, and the government should vigorously support and promote them."
