Tzu Chi

Tzu Chi Foundation is a magical charity organization in Taiwan Province Province. I learned about this organization from a book written by a professor in Taiwan Province Province, the title of which I can't remember, but I learned about Tzu Chi, which happened to be the hot spot of Guo Meimei's Red Cross incident, so I was very interested in this charity organization whose headquarters happened to be near my home.

I visited the headquarters at the weekend. It has three floors, each with an area of 200 square meters. This is a place where entrepreneurs and Tzu Chi members donate. The second floor is used for various activities, but it is not used at ordinary times. There are kitchens and activity rooms on the third and fourth floors. There is also a bookstore on the first floor not far from here. Tzu Chi will have environmental protection activities to welcome the New Year and visit the elderly in nursing homes. I took part in various activities. Tzu Chi's vegetarian food tastes particularly good. Bookstores will have reading activities, flower arrangement, etiquette learning or health sharing, and teachers' networking activities. Tzu Chi has a wide range of activities. There are Tzu Chi hospitals and Tzu Chi universities in Taiwan Province Province, and they have invested a lot of money in medical care and education. When I went to Tzu Chi's clubhouse, I felt that I was at home, especially warm, and all the members were like family.

The founder of this charity organization is Yan Zheng Ren Shang, who founded it in the 1960s. Because of her poor family, she was surrounded by people in need. She didn't get married and devoted all her energy to helping others. At that time, everyone was poor, so her origin was to mobilize women around her to save 50 cents a day to help others. This was called the Year of the Bamboo Tube, and she was doing good deeds every day. They don't like others to donate a large sum of money at one time. They want members to do good deeds every day and take out a small part. That's how her charity started with a group of housewives who were mostly illiterate. So far, Tzu Chi Foundation has clubs all over the world. Whenever there is a natural or man-made disaster, Tzu Chi members will appear and donate money to help the victims.

I am particularly touched that Tzu Chi Foundation helps others by teaching people how to fish. I have a student who reported his situation to the Tzu Chi Foundation when his life was very difficult. Since Tzu Chi took over, they have sent people to visit him every month to help him find a job. This situation has been going on for several years. They won't give people in trouble a lot of money at once, but they can help them mentally and materially, so many people who are helped by the Tzu Chi Foundation will eventually become Tzu Chi members and help others when they have no difficulties.

Every winter, Tzu Chi Foundation holds spring bud activities for poor girls in northern Jiangsu, providing them with winter materials and helping them. When Tzu Chi members go to distribute materials, they all bow 90 degrees to thank them for accepting help. The concept of Tzu Chi volunteers is the process of helping others. They have gained a lot, so be grateful to those who have been helped. Therefore, Tzu Chi will put a "grateful heart" in every activity, which is very good in the chain of Tzu Chi's gratitude education.

Some people always complain about life, so you can take part in Tzu Chi activities, your mind will be open and you will be happy. Some people are always dissatisfied with themselves.
