Brief introduction to the activities of National Liver Love Day

National Liver Protection Day (NPLD) was established to rally various social forces, mobilize the masses, widely spread popular science knowledge of hepatitis and liver disease prevention and protect people's health when the incidence of hepatitis and liver diseases such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C and alcoholic hepatitis is increasing year by year. National Love for Liver Day is scheduled for March 18 every year. Choose a publicity theme every year. Since 200 1, relevant institutions, hospitals and schools all over the country have taken various forms to carry out public welfare publicity activities on this day every year, and so far 15 sessions have been held.

Many health bureaus, disease control institutions, hospitals, foundations, associations and other institutions across the country, vice-chairmen of the National People's Congress, ministers of health, academicians of the two academies, and many government officials, Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference members, liver disease experts, popular science experts, singers and movie stars all participated in the National Love Liver Day. Caring for and protecting the liver has become an organized health promotion activity that people all over the country participate in.
