IV. Main contents of the internship

Since the Dengzhou TV station where I did my internship is a county-level TV station, although it has achieved long-term development in recent years, its scale is still small. The TV station is divided into seven departments, including the interview department, our department, and the advertising department. In fact, the division of labor is not so clear. Except for the producers of fixed columns, ordinary reporters usually take on the tasks of interviewing, editing, and news video production. , all of them are all-round talents. In addition, I am not from a professional background, so I am very unfamiliar with various tasks in the TV station, and it takes a process to become proficient. Therefore, as an intern, I do not have a fixed job title. As a mobile operator in the station, I am always on call and can go wherever I need to go.

The entire internship process is the process of me becoming familiar with various tasks in the TV station. As the internship days go by, my work content gradually deepens from the periphery, and finally comes into contact with the core work of the entire TV station. Evening news production.

All internship content can be classified into four categories:

(1) Outbound interviews

During the 20 days of the entire internship period, I *** followed 4 outbound interview tasks, three of which were concentrated in the first half of the internship. The reporter who took me was named Xiao. Since he was only 6 years older than me, I usually called him Brother Xiao.

The first interview was on the second day after I started my internship. I followed Brother Xiao to Dusi Town for filming. I shot a promotional video for Dusi Town to help it improve the image of the town and attract more investment. Attract investment projects to increase farmers’ income. Dusi is the abbreviation of Dusi, the military institution of the Yuan Dynasty. It was an important military place in the Yuan Dynasty, and this name has been used as a place name since then. Dusi Town is located at the junction of Henan and Hubei provinces. Provincial highways and railways all bypass the town, resulting in inconvenient transportation and relatively lagging economic development compared with other towns. At nearly 11 o'clock, we arrived at Dusi Town, read the town's brochure, and after discussion, we identified nearly 20 places that needed to be videotaped. We planned to shoot first and then add the commentary back to the station. We ran around the town for several hours. By 6pm, we still had three or four places to go, but it was getting dark, so we had to wait until later to catch up on the shots.

The second interview was conducted in conjunction with the 2012 Dengzhou City Outstanding Party Member Selection event organized by the Municipal Party Committee Propaganda Department. Brother Xiao was going to interview the marketing management of the Urban Power Supply Branch of Dengzhou City Electric Power Bureau. Comrade Wu Yongsheng, director of the center. What we need to shoot is the scenes of Comrade Wu Yongsheng’s daily work. Wu Yongsheng needs to go to two public institutions and one enterprise today to conduct daily safety hazard inspections to ensure the safety of electricity use during the Chinese New Year. Different from the last interview, this time I was mainly responsible for handing the microphone and recording the interviewer’s information. During the interview, I found that Comrade Wu Yongsheng is proficient in business and can quickly provide solutions to problems raised by company leaders. However, when he faces the camera, he is very nervous, which is completely opposite to his calmness at work. I somewhat understand why he is an outstanding party member candidate. He works conscientiously, avoids exaggeration, and achieves a great career in an ordinary position.

The third interview was conducted in the hospital. It was a fight caused by a minor traffic accident. A Toyota had a scrape with an electric car. The two car owners had a heated argument on the road, so they were taken to a nearby police station for correction. Unexpectedly, the two people actually fought in the police station, and bloodshed occurred. The police officer in charge could only take the two people to the hospital for treatment. This incident coincides with the recent traffic safety education work carried out by the city, so we mainly conducted interviews with the traffic police and civilian police comrades responsible for the incident. Let them talk about some matters about paying attention to road traffic safety, and also make brief comments on the quality of citizens. After our interview mission was completed, the police comrades were still trying to mediate with the two people. After talking earnestly for a long time, their attitudes eased, and finally they reached a reconciliation. In life, you will always encounter friction with others. Take a step back and leave some room for yourself and the other person.

The last interview took place in the last week of my internship. This time I went to Nanyang Yibao Biotechnology Co., Ltd. on the outskirts of the city for an interview. In recent years, our city has built an economic development zone in the east of the city, and has achieved good results in attracting investment in the past few years. The Yibao company interviewed this time is a major taxpayer in our city. Through the interview with this company, we will promote our city's economic development zone and build momentum for further investment promotion. Although it was the tenth day of the first lunar month, the factory was already in full swing, which surprised me. It seemed that the benefits were indeed very good. Yibao Company is mainly responsible for the processing of various well-known beverages. The latest processing is the herbal tea Wanglaoji. The Spring Festival is a small peak period for herbal tea sales, so the factory resumed production on the fifth day of the Lunar New Year. We interviewed Mr. Zhang, assistant general manager of the medical insurance company. He briefly introduced the company to us and mentioned the government’s preferential policies in taxation, factory construction, etc. My last interview mission was also successfully completed.

In these four interviews, my tasks included the following aspects:

1. Preparation work before shooting, recording the content to be shot, and preparing spare batteries and tripods and other tools; 2. Auxiliary work during the shooting process, such as making boards, recording information about interviewees, passing microphones, asking questions to interviewees, etc.;

3. Finishing work after the interview, organizing the interview The text recorded during the process and the relevant information provided by the interviewees will be handed over to reporter Xiao.

(2) The auxiliary work when making videos in Taili

The auxiliary work when making videos runs through my entire internship process. The main work content is to add subtitles to the videos. This job can be regarded as the simplest in the entire video production process. After two contacts, I have been able to complete this job skillfully.

Adding subtitles to a video is mainly divided into two stages:

In the first stage, watch the video and record the text, and organize the text into a word document. Since many of the interviewees for the news are ordinary citizens or farmers, Mandarin is not popular in my city. I have to convert many dialect words into Mandarin expressions and how to accurately express the meaning of dialects in written language. Coming out really cost me a lot of brainpower.

In the second stage, use the video processing software AfterEffects to paste the text into a special production box. The difficulty of this work lies in the determination of the timeline. The time when the subtitles appear and the length of time they appear must be accurate. This requires repeatedly proofreading the synchronization of the video and subtitles. This is a job that requires patience and is a bit boring, but it taught me a skill.

(3) Writing and proofreading of manuscripts

During the internship, most of the writing work I was exposed to was about proofreading and printing manuscripts. I only wrote alone near the end of the internship period. a news article.

Proofreading and printing manuscripts mainly involves proofreading and modifying the news written by reporters for typos, and reprinting our modified documents.

A piece of news I wrote by myself is related to giving love. I got the video of the interview, asked the reporter in charge for some background information, and started my idea. Zhao, a girl from a poor family, suffered from lupus erythematosus, but her illness was delayed because she was unable to receive treatment. After another girl, Wang, learned about her situation, she appealed to the society to donate money to Zhao. It turned out that Wang had suffered from sepsis before, and she was unable to receive treatment but was finally cured through donations from all walks of life. Therefore, this time Wang took the initiative to contact Zhao and asked several companies for help. So two companies took the lead and conducted a large-scale fundraising event in the Municipal People's Park. At the donation site, Wang told the citizens passing by about his experience, and called on the general public to make donations. Zhao's mother and sister held two donation boxes and accepted donations from the general public. The scene was very touching. I named the title of the news Relay of Love, Warming the Cold Winter, and then I wrote it according to the time, place, and events. The process went very smoothly. After it was completed, he took it to me for revision. He deleted some content and modified some words, and finally completed the news. (4) Participating in the recording of the Dengzhou City Spring Festival Gala

Participating in the recording of the Dengzhou City Spring Festival Gala was an unexpected experience during my internship, and it was also my most unforgettable experience. From the preparation for recording the Spring Festival Gala to the official recording, it took 4 days. It was not a long time, but it was an extremely busy 4 days. During the two days of preparation work, although several of our interns wanted to help, we were afraid that our unfamiliarity with the business would cause more trouble, so we discussed it and dispersed it into several offices so that each office could There can be one or two handymen.

The office I work in is responsible for the compilation of host speeches and some manuscripts, so my job is to proofread typos, print the manuscripts, take the manuscripts to Director Liu who is in charge of the TV station for review, and then print out the revised manuscripts. Sometimes I also participate in some discussions on word selection. It is worth mentioning that I added the subtitles to the video of the mayor sending New Year greetings to the people of the city that will be played on the big screen during the Spring Festival Gala.

The two days of rehearsal and official recording of the Spring Festival Gala were basically physical work. It takes a long time to pack up the equipment, transport it to the People's Theater, and set up the equipment. On the day of recording, a group of more than 20 of us carried 7 or 8 equipment boxes of various sizes and rushed to the recording location. After the equipment was assembled, it was almost 5 pm. Another intern and I were sent to buy dinner. Due to time constraints, we only bought some convenient food such as bread and milk. The party officially starts at 19:30, and an intern should be on standby next to each camera to prevent unattended situations in case of emergencies. I was assigned to the boom right next to the stage. Since the crane occupies a large area and often swings widely to capture panoramic views, one of my main tasks is to prevent some audience members from approaching the crane on the right side of the stage. Throughout the party, I changed the batteries of two cameras, and even went outside to report an emergency: a cameraman's headset suddenly stopped receiving sound. Tu Honggang, who appeared at the finale of the party, aroused the excitement of the audience. Many viewers wanted to use the swing arm to reach the stage to have close contact with the star. I no longer care about watching celebrities, so I can only stop them one by one. Since the audio equipment was right in front, I could only yell as loud as I could. By the time the party was over, my head was pounding and my voice was hoarse. The party ended around 9:30, and by the time we finished packing up the equipment, it was almost 11 o'clock. Although I am very tired, when I see the video I participated in the production being broadcast on the big screen, the joy and pride in my heart are difficult to express in words. All the hard work is worth it!

5. Internship Summary and experience
