Leshan tourism

Leshan is a world-famous eco-cultural tourist attraction, an important town on the tourism map of China, the best tourist destination in China and one of the world natural and cultural heritage cities in China. Leshan has three world heritages: Leshan Giant Buddha, Emei Mountain and Dongfeng Weir. The density of world-class and national-level tourism resources has reached 25 per 10,000 square kilometers, which is 3.6 times of the provincial average. The reclining Buddha and the giant Buddha in Leshan discovered in 1980s constitute the eternal wonders of "the heart is the Buddha".

Leshan also has a large number of undeveloped natural original ecological scenic spots, such as the Alsophila spinulosa Valley in Mucheng, with lush territory, which is called the living fossil kingdom of nature.
