Positive thinking+reverse thinking

Mother Teresa has a famous saying: "I never take part in anti-war demonstrations." Come to me if there is a demonstration that advocates peace. " At first glance, isn't opposing war just fighting for peace? Shouldn't they be the same concept? Then why put them in the opposite position? I didn't realize the importance of positive thinking and reverse thinking until I finished reading this week's book.

Think positively, let's try to think and express in a positive direction. Opposing and confronting war is not the best way, we will stick to whatever we resist! So many anti-war demonstrations around the world have not all stopped the war. Everyone or an organization composed of people can't escape the weakness and bondage of human nature, and everyone can't get rid of rebellious psychology. So on the psychological level, it may actually cause such a dilemma. The more people object, the more they have to implement it. The fiercer the opposition, the more resolutely it must be implemented! This theory has been widely used in modern infant enlightenment education.

If it is a peaceful demonstration, the effect will be different. Imagine that on one side, an angry crowd is holding up the slogan of "anti-war", while on the other side, an orderly and calm crowd is holding hands and unfurling the banner of "supporting peace". Visual shock, psychological feeling and soul shock are absolutely different! Thus affecting people's final decisions will be different!

Reverse thinking can help us better find ways and means to achieve our goals. Striving for peace is the real purpose, not opposing war. When peace comes, war will naturally disappear. But the opposite is not the case. Even if the war has not started, it does not mean that we have peace. However, people often cling to the immediate phenomenon, but lose the essence behind it. In the end, they are bound to take another road.

Since the pursuit of peace, then stand on the goal of peace and push back. What actions do we need to take to achieve our goal? Opposing war is not the best way. The best way is understanding, tolerance, love and gratitude. Of course, this is really too difficult, and it is even more difficult to actually operate, but it is easier to start doing the most difficult things. No matter how simple things are, you will never finish them unless you start doing them.

Positive thinking, reverse thinking. Of course, in any other field, it can guide our actions. In our daily life, we should be clear about what we want, and don't entangle what we don't want; Then we must have a firm belief that what we pursue will be realized; Finally, starting from the results and objectives, push forward and see what kind of ways and means are the most reasonable and effective. I believe this method must be more useful than simply responding to reality.
