How to establish a concept of labor among middle school students

Although I am a college student, I am just talking about my personal point of view (I cannot say it is correct, I just provide an opinion)

Middle school students are just at a semi-mature stage. I have begun to look at and evaluate the world with my own eyes and consciousness. Maybe this consciousness is incorrect, but I am really thinking through myself.

I think the children around me or the children of this age group I know can be divided into two groups when it comes to career choices. One is the small group that has its own clear ideals and goals, but they What they think about is what they will do in the future, rather than a specific industry. The other group's ideal goals are not too clear. They think about how to complete the current task. So, in my opinion, choosing a career can be eliminated. If as a teacher or parent you place too much emphasis on what your child will do in the future, you may stifle your child’s current interests!

Voluntary labor and collective labor are indeed necessary in middle schools, but I suggest it be mandatory, because children of this age are somewhat rebellious and unwilling. Although it is a bit unrealistic to let them realize the responsibility for themselves and society during work, this is indeed realized in the process of gradual practice. It is important to understand their own responsibilities in future universities or in society. And another manifestation of this responsibility is the so-called labor concept!

This is just a simple personal opinion.
