Later, I often went to this house. The aborigines on Gulangyu Island are very calm, unlike the foreigners who flocked to the island to run various businesses later, who often have red eyes and uneven breathing.

Chinese medicine practitioners who often go to the island are not businessmen, but just a family. The old man is a Chinese doctor. I wonder if he has a certificate. The old man just passed by, and the owner asked me, do you know what that means?

The villa on Gulangyu Island was later rented out by the householder. There are many famous people and historical sites, and some houses are unoccupied. There are too many graves in the west, but there is only a fly in the ointment on the island. The villa opposite the tomb is almost uninhabited and abandoned for too long, which is very scary. It is said that all the islanders emigrated at that time. Maybe the old house left by generations is no longer needed, but the country can't move and belongs to personal property. I once traveled to the island for one night, but it was really beautiful in the morning. Wandering aimlessly on the island during the day and going to the beach to bask in the sun. The seaside of Gulangyu Island is not very beautiful. Go along Haibin Road to Longtou Road. I don't remember many paths in the middle. There is a big commercial street. To be honest, things are not good. Souvenirs are the same all over the country. Do you eat and drink? Xiaogui, it's not very delicious, but it's a little special. For foreign tourists, if they are tired from walking, they can just find a coffee shop to drink coffee and stare blankly, and look at stories made up by some shops. A good friend of my father's uncle lived in Gulangyu for several years because his children went to school there.

At that time, my studies were not very heavy. When I was free, I often went to Gulangyu with my dad to make tea with my uncle.

From the market to home, along the long and narrow road by the sea, I passed several antique shops, accompanied by the music on the island, the sound of the sea beating, the sound of the wind blowing betel nut trees, and the sunset shone on my body. At that time, I liked to walk by the sea with my friends in the afternoon. My parents grew up by the sea, and my grandmother's house is the kind of place where you can see the sea in a few steps.

I remember that there was a typhoon warning in the whole city when I was in the first year of high school, and the school broadcast informed the students living in Gulangyu to go home immediately, immediately ... The male student at my back desk was a native of Gulangyu, and when chatting with my deskmate, the teacher named him to go back to the dormitory to pack up and go home immediately, so the students at the desk walked out of the classroom in the envious eyes of others after class.

When I was in college, I met my classmates who graduated from Shuangshi Middle School, all from Xiamen. She grew up in Gulangyu, where she was in primary school and junior high school, and moved to Xiamen Island in middle school.

She said that her classmates who specialize in learning musical instruments and taking the road of artistic expertise are now music teachers.

Working hours are free and relaxed. On the other hand, those students who got good grades in cultural courses and didn't take the road of artistic talents seem to have no better life now, but I think it's ok.

She said that when she was a child, she was very naughty and often played tricks on her classmates, causing all kinds of troubles. The living environment of Gulangyu, which is basically known to all, led her to be criticized by the teacher in the morning.

When I went home at noon, my parents knew, and then the whole community knew, and then basically the whole island knew. ...

I asked what it was like to live in Gulangyu's childhood, and she said there seemed to be no feeling at that time.

I just think it's very troublesome to go to Xiamen Island, and I have to take a ferry. Later, high school moved to Xiamen Island. In addition, the harsh high school learning environment of Shuangshi Middle School is totally incompatible with her chic style. Instead, I began to feel that I lived in Gulangyu during that time. It's good.

At that time, many friends who often played together were no longer in Xiamen, some were still studying abroad, some had already worked and settled outside, and many students who stayed in Xiamen no longer lived in Gulangyu. If you go to Gulangyu again, you will miss the friends you played with when you were young.
