Let's talk after seeing Yuanmingyuan.

Well, this is my second visit to Yuanmingyuan. I was held by my mother when I was very young. Every time I say, "I haven't been to Yuanmingyuan!" " "My mother retorted," Why haven't you been there? Didn't I take you when you were two years old? "Well, then go when you are old enough to remember. But I really ignored the "big" of Yuanmingyuan before I came.

How big is Yuanmingyuan, which covers an area of 350 hectares (5250 mu)? As mentioned in "Talking about World Architecture", the land construction area can rival the Forbidden City, and the water area is equivalent to a Summer Palace. The area of this water area is 2 100 mu, and almost half of the park is water. Is this the reason why the sidewalk is narrow?

From the entrance to both sides of the road, the most impressive thing is the lotus in the garden. Whether in water or potted plants, they are lush, as if they could take away the summer heat at a glance.

Lotus is also the favorite of Emperor Qianlong. I wonder if Xia Yuhe by Daming Lake was remembered by Emperor Qianlong because of the word "Lotus" in his name.

Yuanmingyuan is composed of Qichun Garden, Changchun Garden and Yuanmingyuan (and Xichun Garden, which is already a part of Tsinghua), commonly known as "Yuanming Three Gardens". The gate of the Grand Palace is the main entrance of Yuanmingyuan, which seems to be closed.

Subway Line 4 gets off at Yuanmingyuan Station, and the nearest ones are the entrance of Zhengjue Temple and the south gate of Qichun Garden. You can buy tickets to enter both places, but if you want to hire a tour guide, you can only have it at the gate of Qichun Garden.

Judging from the area of the three major gardens, Yuanmingyuan is the largest, followed by Changchun Garden and Qichun Garden. However, this part of Yuanmingyuan was burned and robbed the most seriously. At present, there are no substantial scenic spots to see except vegetation, while Qichun Garden is completely renovated, and only Changchun Garden has historical value. It can be said that Yuanmingyuan has "three visits and two trips".

It seems that in order to welcome this wave of tourists, the weather is particularly good and the sun is particularly bright. After visiting Qichun Garden and Changchun Garden (walking for more than three hours), I really have no physical strength to continue to see Yuanmingyuan. Leave some regrets and thoughts.

The original Yuanmingyuan was just an ordinary park. After Emperor Kangxi gave this garden to Yin Zhen and named it "Yuanmingyuan", Yong Zhengdi not only expanded its area from more than 600 mu to more than 3,000 mu, but also added a palace for daily government affairs, turning an ordinary park into a good place for office, leisure and entertainment.

In my impression, Yong Zhengdi was the most thrifty emperor in the whole Qing Dynasty, and only Yuanmingyuan made him extravagant.

During the Qianlong period, Qichun Garden and Changchun Garden were expanded. Emperor Jiaqing worked hard to maintain and expand Qichun Garden. However, during the Daoguang period, due to the weak national strength, it was impossible to carry out large-scale repair work until it was burned by the British and French Coalition forces (Xianfeng period).

These emperors also had a deep relationship with Yuanmingyuan. Yong Zhengdi and Daoguang both died in Yuanmingyuan, while Jiaqing and Xianfeng were both born in Yuanmingyuan.

The Yuanmingyuan once had the famous "Forty Scenes", but now it has disappeared. There used to be more than 200 bridges here, and the only old stone bridge preserved to this day is the "Broken Bridge".

However, this bridge is really not suitable for people to walk. Presumably, it used to be a Jiangnan-style ornamental bridge.

Yuanmingyuan has experienced four hardships in its dying history. The first time was a well-known "fire robbery", which was robbed by the British and French allied forces and burned for three days and nights. After the fire, many mobs and eunuchs will also scramble to make big money.

Later, Eight-Nation Alliance invaded, surrounding people, beaten soldiers, bandits and so on. Selling tens of thousands of precious trees in the garden and selling money to burn charcoal is called "robbing wood".

During the Revolution of 1911, warlords took away the stone carts in Taihu Lake, and Zhang took the stones from the park home to build villas and cemeteries. This is a "stone robbery".

The last "soil robbery" was after the end of Xuan Tong, and the park was over-reclaimed for farming. Although the Yuanmingyuan has marked many scenic spots on the map, most of the sites can't even find the foundation, so we can talk about reconstruction.

The west building is not a building? It can also be seen from the few remains of Yuanmingyuan that western culture was very popular with the imperial court at that time. When you come to Yuanmingyuan, you will always hear the name of the West Building. This is not a certain building, but a group of buildings, such as birdcage, maze, Haiyan Hall, Dashuifa and so on.

Look carefully at the maze below, the walls are very short, and you can see through the whole situation at a glance. Can you infer that court women in the past were not too tall? Otherwise, how can you enjoy the maze?

The birdcage is protected by a glass cover. It is said that archaeologists come to explore every year. Looking at the holes dug many times on the ground, through unremitting exploration, can you find some secrets that the world still doesn't know?

The square is the place where ChristianRandPhillips worships. A few crumbling stone pillars, I can't imagine what it used to look like, and I can't guess its purpose. It used to be a two-story building, one for bathing and changing clothes, and the other for worship.

When it comes to ChristianRandPhillips, all the impressions only come from Princess Zhu Huan. The two men in her life, one is a rich man who has money but doesn't love him, and the other is an infatuated fool who loves him but has no money and is poor. If in today's society, in an era of "crying in a BMW instead of laughing on a bicycle", is it possible for ChristianRandPhillips to be simpler and happier?

The most interesting attraction of Yuanmingyuan is Dashuifa! This word evolved from the English word "fountain", which means fountain. But after reading it again and again, I can't find the voice of "handsome hair".

China's other explanation is more logical: "When the fountains are all open, it's like water juggling", so it's called the water law.

It is said that when all the fountains are open, we can only understand each other by gesturing, so the sound is scary.

What is the original appearance of Dashuifa? In order to compare the pain of the stones scattered in the hay now, let's take a look at the original appearance first.

The pillar behind the entrance of the Western-style arch bridge (on the left in the picture) is the site of the former British Pavilion and ChristianRandPhillips's bedroom. The western-style entrance in front is the "Dashui Law", which is also the most spectacular fountain in all western-style buildings.

In the original appearance, the square towers on both sides and the copper pipes (88) around the towers are used to spray water together, but the "grandeur" and grandeur in the picture are no longer felt.

The "water watching method" is also the place where the emperor watched the Dashui method. The stone pillars behind are all carved with western swords and guns ... I wonder if this also implies what happened later?

For the emperor's seat, sitting facing south is particular. Nevertheless, Liu Beiting in Tanzhe Temple, the seat of the emperor and minister. Only in Yuanmingyuan, the position of water viewing method is facing south. Among many reasons, I think it is more important to "enjoy the rainbow in the water mist". After all, all this exists for viewing.

In the sultry weather, I was really sweating in Yuanmingyuan, the garden of ten thousand gardens. Think about the past, when emperors and concubines in heavy royal robes were tired and had sedan chairs to sit on, and the maids and eunuchs who waited on them didn't know how many steps to take in this garden every day. It is very difficult to get fat.

After walking, listening and talking all the way, the Yuanmingyuan seems to be back to its original appearance, an "ordinary" park. The breeze is slow, and the boat passes the lotus flowers. Although there are few beautiful scenery on the land, it makes the blue lotus in the water so deep and moving. In fact, the perseverance of the stone pillars and the lotus flowers from generation to generation can also be understood as the spirit in the bones has always been there?

There must be some regrets about the experience of Yuanmingyuan, but how much shock and regret can this heart achieve because it has never seen its original appearance?

Among the many gardens in Beijing, Chinese architectural style is dominant, and there are only one or two western styles at most. For example, the stone boat in the Summer Palace is a two-story palace boat that embodies western culture and is the only building with western style in the garden. There is only one garden gate in Gongwangfu, which adopts the western Baroque and Rococo styles.

In Yuanmingyuan, it embodies the western style in the form of architecture, covering an area of 80 mu. Unfortunately, it is only a pity now.
