Sarah sighed as she walked into the kitchen. She almost (but not completely) forgot that she had dishes to wash. Ella's music practice has distracted her for too long. Her slippers are too big for her now. When she drags around the kitchen in her huge slippers, her heels hardly leave the ground. She scratched at the dried eggs on the sleeves of the sweater. She picked up the rag and dried it on the tap. She began to wipe the crumbs on the surface, bypassing the sundries, but put it under the bottle. It feels delicious and full; There is only half a cup left. She sniffed the cork and relaxed her shoulders.

The dishwasher began to hum softly, and Sarah turned off the light. She slipped into the living room and collapsed on the sofa. As usual, mats were thrown all over the floor.
