Why are all local dogs called "Chinese garden dogs" nowadays?

I think the name "local dog" is a sign of disrespect for dogs. Just because they are not alien species, will they be accused of living in the countryside for a long time? So are the breeds that exist in the suburbs outside the country also local dogs? In fact, this is not a social class problem of dogs, but can reflect China's distorted psychology of worshipping foreign things and obsessing foreign things.

Of course, now many people are more and more aware of this problem, so they all change their names to "Chinese Garden Dog". Hearing this, I feel that dogs in our own country are not so rustic.
