Every country should have its own lifeline. Only when this lifeline is in our own hands can the country not be chaotic. After the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Ukraine was located between Russia and European countries. Russia is rich in resources and European countries have advanced technology. If Ukraine can make use of its geographical position, buy cheap raw materials from Russia and introduce advanced technology from Europe, then Ukraine's economy will certainly develop rapidly. However, Ukraine did not make such a choice, but decided to develop to the west. Their actions are undoubtedly a betrayal of Russia, and this choice is undoubtedly a huge failure.

At the same time, due to the intervention of external forces, Ukraine is in turmoil. Ukraine inherited a large number of advanced weapons and equipment from the disintegration of the Soviet Union, and the most important thing was that it contained thousands of nuclear missiles, which made Ukraine the third nuclear-weapon country besides the United States and Russia. According to the force and nuclear weapons at that time, Ukraine should have no problem in protecting itself, but under the coercion of the United States and Russia, Ukraine bowed its head and destroyed all nuclear weapons, which also made them lose their ability to protect themselves.

Although the United States and Russia gave Ukraine some economic compensation after destroying nuclear weapons, Ukraine, which lost its lifeline, never recovered. Although the security of the United States and Russia seems like a joke, Ukraine has to hand over its lifeline to the United States.
