What is the racial proportion in the United States?

As of April 20021year, the racial proportion in the United States:

Non-Hispanic whites account for 60. 1%, Hispanics account for 18.5%, Africans account for 13.4%, Asians account for 5.9%, mixed-race people account for 2.8%, Indians and Alaska natives account for10.3%, and Hawaiian aborigines or other Pacific islanders account for 0.3%.

White Americans account for the majority (about 2/3), and the remaining one-third of ethnic minorities are mostly concentrated in coastal areas or metropolitan areas. Hispanics are a very divided ethnic group, and they are the largest among ethnic minorities.

Population release:

California and Texas are the two most populous states. The population center of the United States continues to tilt southwest. The populations of the southwestern states such as Texas, California and Utah are growing rapidly, while the populations of the long-established northeastern states (new york, Massachusetts and Illinois) are stagnant or even declining. New york City is the most populous city in the United States.

About 46.5% of the population believes in Christianity, 20.8% in Catholicism, 1.9% in Judaism, 0.9% in Islam, 0.7% in Buddhism, 0.5% in Orthodox Church, 1.2% in other religions, and 22.8% in no religion (a few people belong to multi-religious beliefs.
