A particularly interesting scene in the movie is that when the Soviet team played against the United States in the finals, in the last three seconds before the end of the game, the United States scored a free throw to overtake the Soviet team 50:49. Upon seeing this, he immediately applied for a timeout, but the referee did not respond. Once the game time was up, the whistle sounded.

The Soviet coaching team went to the organizing committee to plead why their timeout was not executed. The referee team admitted that there was a problem with the equipment, and the organizing committee agreed to hand over the ball to the Soviet team, but the timer did not expire. Yes, it was only one second, but it was not enough. The Soviet team did not complete the winning goal. Just when everyone thought there was no way to save the situation, the president of the International Basketball Association came out to uphold justice and said that the Soviet team should be given 3 seconds. Hope was rekindled and they would not let the opportunity slip away this time. As soon as the whistle blew, the Soviet team served, caught, shot, and hit all at once. The Soviet team won 51:50. When I saw this, I almost jumped up. Sometimes the weak finally win by fighting hard, which is even more exciting.
