"Behind every successful man, there is a smart woman", which is absolutely correct. In Romance of the Three Kingdoms, neither Yuan Shao nor Yuan Shu achieved great things. Although on the surface, they have little to do with their women, on closer inspection, they do.

Yuan Shao and Yuan Shu are half brothers. Because, unlike concubines, Yuan Shao often looks down on his younger brother, and Yuan Shu is not interested in his younger brother. At the end of the Eastern Han Dynasty, although these two men were both the most powerful warlords, they were indifferent to each other, far away from each other and helped each other, which eventually led to Cao Cao's fiasco after the eunuch. In fact, as long as Lombardi and Yuan Shu understand that the lips are missing and the teeth are cold, two people are brothers together, and there are ten Cao Mengde Tsao Aman, and they will not be their two brothers' opponents.

Back to Yuan Shao and the woman in Yuan Shu, let's start with the eldest brother Yuan Shao.

Yuan Shao's wife, Mrs. Liu, and Yuan Shao had a son named Yuan Shang, but Yuan Shang was not the eldest son. Yuan Shang also has a brother named Yuan Tan. This Yuan Tan is the eldest son of Yuan Shao's dead wife. An ancient family attached great importance to the status of the eldest son, just like Yuan Shao and Yuan Shu. Yuan Shao was the eldest son, so Yuan Shao's status was far greater than Yuan Shu's.

Mrs Liu is partial to her son Yuan Shang. She deliberately wanted Yuan Shang to be Lombardi's successor, so she often spoke ill of Yuan Tan in Lombardi's ear. Influenced by Mrs. Liu's pillow breeze for a long time, Yuan Shao gradually fell in love with Yuan Shang and alienated his eldest son Yuan Tan. Yuan Shao's debacle was only the credit of a woman, while Yuan Shu was the credit of a group of women.

Yuan Shu's wife Feng is the daughter of Feng Fang, an official of the Eastern Han Dynasty. She is beautiful, sensible and a beauty. In the second year of Jian 'an (AD 197), Yuan Shu proclaimed himself emperor in Shouchun and made Feng the queen. When other women in Yuan Shu saw that Yuan Shu loved Mrs. Feng so much, they teamed up to frame her and wanted Yuan Shu to alienate Mrs. Feng. One day, they got together and told Mrs. Feng noisily that Yuan Shu was an ambitious person and you were the queen. When you are with him, you should act worried about him, so that Yuan Shu will like you more. Honest Mrs. Feng didn't think much, so she did as the concubines said. The result is self-defeating, and Yuan Shu prefers Mrs. Feng to care about the country and the people.

When the concubines saw that a plan failed, they carried Yuan Shu and killed Mrs. Feng. They tricked Mrs. Feng to a place where no one was there, strangled her with a rope, hung her body on the wooden beam of the toilet, and pretended that Mrs. Feng hanged herself. Yuan Shu a look, don't doubt that it was homicide. After a fake cry, Yuan Shu was clean with other beautiful women.

As the saying goes: there is a fire in the backyard, and it will be chaotic if it is not chaotic! Yuan Shu's harem is full of snake-hearted people. How can a man like Yuan Shu achieve great things? It is normal for Yuan Shu to lose to Cao Cao, a wily old fox.
