Why Longyan is not the birthplace of Hakka?
1. Historical reasons: The ancestors of Hakkas are mainly Han people in the Central Plains. Due to wars and disasters, they gradually moved south to Fujian, Guangdong, Jiangxi and other regions. In this process, they merged with local aborigines and formed Hakka culture. Before the Hakkas moved south, there were already other nationalities living in Longyan area, so Longyan was not the original residence of Hakkas.
2. Language and culture differences: Hakka language and culture have unique characteristics, such as Hakka dialect, Hakka culture and Hakka tradition. However, Longyan dialect and culture are obviously different from Hakka culture, so Longyan is not directly related to Hakka culture.
