The literal meaning is that father and child cannot eat at the same table. Uncles and nephews are also not allowed to drink together. But such rules are very puzzling. Why do we need such inexplicable rules when facing people so close to us?

We have always attached great importance to etiquette and rules. In ancient times, there was a saying that the king guides his subjects, the husband guides his wife, and the father guides his son. We have attached great importance to family seniority since ancient times. So in fact, the father has absolute authority and status in front of his son. Therefore, father and son drink at different tables, uncle and nephew do not drink at the same table, which means that you and I are not of the same generation, so we cannot be compared. In this view, if his father and his son sit at the same table, and his uncle and nephew blow at the bottle together, the hierarchy will be messed up.
