Performance features of Pingxiang Chunluo

Spring gongs are sung in Pingxiang dialect. Most of the songs and lyrics are in the form of praise, which are short paragraphs that praise each event, that is, praise things, praise things, and praise people. These praises range from the three emperors and five emperors, loyal ministers and good generals, to the three religions and nine streams, with seventy-two lines, each with its own lyrics. Many veteran artists can recite hundreds of verses of spring gong music. Songs that were often sung in the past include "Praise for Charcoal Shed", "Praise for Tea", "Praise for Grains", "Praise for the Opening of a New Store", "Praise for the Wedding", etc. The language of the lyrics is popular, fluent, and vivid, and exaggeration is often used in singing. The number of lyrics and sentences is not limited, usually two sentences with one rhyme, sometimes four or eight sentences with one rhyme, and the rhyme can be changed flexibly.
