Language skills are needed in daily life.

Oral language expression is the direct embodiment of leaders' thoughts, knowledge and ideas. In order to effectively carry out leadership activities, leaders must be good at using oral language to express ideas, exchange feelings and spread information. This requires leaders to master the rules and skills of oral language expression, and strive to be good at speaking and attending meetings. Paying attention to oral language skills is actually emphasizing the "five characteristics" of leadership oral language.

Have a definite aim. Leaders should choose attractive topics, language materials and expressions according to different occasions, different objects and different purposes in order to achieve the expected results. Different scenes where leaders are present have different requirements for oral expression, and the language used must meet the requirements of specific scenes, otherwise it may make a joke.

Diversity. There are many specific methods for leaders' oral language skills, such as humor, euphemism, suggestion and vagueness. In addition, each specific method has multiple uses. Fuzzy methods can be divided into three types: generalization, avoidance and selection. The broad form is to convey the main information in a broad and flexible spoken language; Avoidance is to avoid certain content with unclear oral language; Choice is the use of selective oral language to express uncertain behavior.

Appropriateness. In leadership activities, leaders often need to give suggestions or advice to communicators, so they need to pay attention to the appropriateness of oral language wording. Generally speaking, the words used in many leaders' suggestions or advice are relatively direct, often words such as "should", "shouldn't", "want" and "don't", especially among people with close relationships. But this is too arbitrary for ordinary people, and there are too many lessons. In order to build a harmonious interpersonal relationship, leaders should give suggestions or advice to ordinary people, and the wording should be euphemistic.

Emotional. Emotion is the core pillar of vocal language expression. The so-called "emotion" is a psychological reflection of whether objective things meet their own needs. Audio language is always accompanied by emotion. In vocal language expression, voice is supported by breath, emotion is the motive force of breath, and breath moves with emotion. Leaders' oral language should have strong emotions, because language without emotions is not infectious and dynamic. The emotionalization of leaders' oral language should be closely combined with ideology, and empty emotional language without content and thought can't impress the public. Emotional oral language should be sincere and simple, not exaggerated or grandiose.

The oral language of leaders who are attractive to the public is rich. (1) is rich in vocabulary. Leaders' oral language should strive to use descriptive, vivid, accurate and vivid words, and skillfully use professional vocabulary, idioms and proverbs to stimulate public enthusiasm, arouse public imagination and gain public trust. (2) Rich sentence patterns. In order to strengthen the effect of oral language expression, leaders should pay attention to the changes of sentence patterns in oral language, which can be single sentences or complex sentences; You can use declarative sentences or exclamatory sentences; Long and short sentences can be staggered, and sentences and prepositions can be inverted. If the syntax is irregular, it sounds natural and harmonious. (3) Rich rhetoric. Leaders should master and use various rhetorical methods skillfully to enhance the visualization of oral language. Appropriate metaphor can stimulate others' association; Accurate questions and rhetorical questions can cause suspense; Smooth parallelism can stimulate the waves of public feelings; Timely repetition and emphasis can deepen the impression of others. (4) Rich rhythm. The cadence and ups and downs of the sound can give the public a beautiful enjoyment. Leaders should pay attention to the changes of volume, sound quality and timbre when speaking to the public. They are sometimes slow, sometimes loud and stirring, sometimes intermittent, and sometimes pouring thousands of miles, so as to influence the public's thoughts and strike a chord with the public.
