How to read the speech [thoughts on reading the little speech]

Reading Xiao Yu by Zou Taofen (1895- 1944) (Commercial Press, May 2065, 438+02 edition) reminds me of some things in my childhood. I was born in Suzhou on April 1937, and my birth coincided with the Japanese bombing of Suzhou and the advance to Nanjing. My mother took my eldest brother, Wang Yin, and I fled to jianhu county Watertown in Yancheng by refugee boat, while my father continued to work in Suzhou to earn money to support his family. When I was 6 years old, I entered the primary school founded by the New Fourth Army. When I was in the fifth grade, I once opened the book that my eldest brother brought back from Suzhou. There were many magazines and books in it, such as children, middle school students, life, public life, China geography, Wu Jingheng's History of Imperialism invading China, and Gorky's Nightclub. Life and public life were founded by Mr. Zou Taofen. I can understand these two magazines, especially the letters from readers and various questions, which greatly enriched my knowledge and made me feel the complexity of society.

When I was in junior high school, I read Mr. Tao Fen's Memories of the Past, which opened a window for me to understand the national conditions, people's feelings and culture in the west. After I joined the history department of Fudan University, the teacher who taught modern world history was Wang Zaoshi (1903- 197 1), one of the seven gentlemen who fought against Japan and saved the nation, and I was a difficult friend with Mr. Tao Fen. This has added a lot of intimacy to Mr. Taofen in my heart.

Mr. Tao Fen is a famous pioneer of press and publication. In fact, he is also an old-timer in China magazine industry, leaving an important page in the history of China's essays. This "little speech" is his masterpiece of prose. This book is included in the prose collections of Mr. Tao Fen 1928 to 1933, which literally means short essays. However, although the length is small, the content is extremely rich. Most articles start from small places and come to significant conclusions, which greatly sublimate the articles. The dribs and drabs of morbid society, the numerous forests of national character, the tyranny of imperialism, the corruption of the national government, the traitor Wang Jingwei's traitorous pursuit of glory, the tragic anti-Japanese of Gaoshan compatriots in Taiwan Province Province, the desperate resistance of the Northeast Volunteers, and so on, Mr. Tao Fen made a sharp analysis with his iron pen, hit the floor; And its eulogizing national spirit of resisting violence, aggression and perseverance is even more brilliant.

As one of the essayists, I think Mr. Tao Fen's prose has inspired us a lot. Looking around at the domestic essayists, no one can compare with Mr. Tao Fen in terms of the scope of discussion. If essays become small comments on current events, the future will be in danger. His writing method is not original, but it is very penetrating. Without profound education and rich life experience, it is impossible.

At this point, I can't help but think of an interesting thing related to Mr. Taofen. The late friend Bao, publisher, editor and scholar of literature and history? **? Persecuted, he was sent to his hometown of Funing County to clean toilets and dig excrement in Funing Middle School. Ten years ago, Mr. Bowen won the Taofen Award, a grand prize in the publishing industry. When the news reached Funing, the villagers rushed to tell each other, saying? Dai Wenbao? *****? When I was in Funing Middle School, I was very good at digging shit. I recently won the prize by digging shit in Beijing! ? Wow, these villagers don't know who Mr. Taofen is at all, which is why they make such a big joke. The diaphragm is so sad. Later, I made a column in Wen Hui Reading Weekly? Xinshi said? The disclosure of this matter attracted the attention of Ceng Yanxiu (Yan Xiu) doyen. I called Mr Bowen, who came to my house specially, and gave him this newspaper as a souvenir.

Obviously, let more people? Including ordinary people, it should be the unshirkable responsibility of the press and publishing circles and academic circles to remember Mr. Zou Taofen.
