During the Gulf War, my sister, Jane, bought a flag and asked her apartment's maintenance man, a Vietnamese vet, to install a pole for him. When she offered to pay him, he told her there was no way he could take money for putting up the American flag.

Jane came to the local area to report to Du and published an article in the newspaper about the matter. When Jenny met the maintenance worker for the second time, he told Jenny that everyone he knew read the newspaper she wrote and that she made him a celebrity. Jenny jokingly asked him to sign it.

"I don't have time," the man replied. "I'm too busy setting up American flags."

He replied: "Then I don't have time," I am very busy with flying the American flag."

Home Alone

My wife will go to any extreme to. keep people from,knowing she is home alone. One evening when I was working late,my wife heard a knock on the door. She ignored it,but the knocing continued. Frantic,sloe began to bark,softly at first,then louder and louder. Much to her relief, the knocking soon stopped.

When my wife is home alone, she always doesn't want others to know that there is no one else in the house. One night, I worked late. When my wife heard someone knocking on the door, she ignored it, but the knocking kept coming. In panic, she started barking like a dog. She screamed softly at first, then her screams grew louder and louder. The knocking on the door stopped quickly, and she breathed a sigh of relief.

The next day the paper boy came to the door to collect. "I came by last night," he told me, "but I left when your wife barked at me!"

The next day, the kid who delivered the newspaper came to my house to collect money. The kid told me: "I came here last night. Your wife kept barking at me like a dog, so I left."

Peter's appearance determines his score

One semester when my brother, Peter, attended the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, an art-student friend of his asked if he could paint Peter's portait for a class.assignment. Peter agreed, and the art student painted and submitted the portrait, only to receive a C minus.

The art student went to the professor and asked why his score was so low. The professor told him that the proportions in the portrait were out of proportion. The professor said: "The head is too big, the shoulders are too broad, and the feet are too big."

The next day, the art student brought Peter to see the professor. He took one Look at my brother."Okay, A minus. "he said.

The next day, the art student took Peter to see the professor. The professor looked at my brother and said, "Okay, A minus." You can get an A-.”
