Amazing the World with a Single Feat

Warring States Period During the period, King Wei of Qi served as king for three years after he came to the throne. He only cared about enjoying himself and ignored political affairs. There was a man named Chunyu Kun who was good at telling jokes. One day he said to King Qi Wei: "There is a big bird in the city. It has not flown or screamed for three years. Do you know what this means?" King Qi Wei said: "This bird cannot fly or cry for three years." If you fly, you will soar to the sky; if you don't sing, you will be amazing." Inspired by Chun Yukun, King Wei of Qi began to govern the country and achieved great results. The prestige of Qi has been maintained for decades.

In the Warring States Period, Duke Wei of Qi neglected state affairs, for the first three years of his reign, giving himself over to dissipation. One of his ministers, Chun Yukun who had a good sense of humour , said to him: \\'There is a big bird which has neither taken wing nor sung for three years.\\' The duke answered, \\'Once that bird starts to fly and sing, it will astonish the world.\ \' The duke thereupon devoted himself to his duties and built his state up into a powerful one.

"A blockbuster" is used to mean that he is usually unknown, but once he takes action, he makes amazing achievements.

This idiom is used to indicate that a person may rise from obscurity and achieve greatness.
