We arrived at the famous "Tianya Haijiao". I thought this place was land, cut into the sea, and there was no way out. But wrong, it's not like that at all.

The so-called "Tianya Haijiao" is next to the expressway, twenty or thirty steps apart. Of course, there is a sea, right next to the rock, but there is no "corner". As for Tianya, I can imagine why the ancients named it thousands of years ago, but today the main road around the island goes straight there, and there are salt fields, iron mines and so on: where is Tianya?

To my surprise, this "cape" has such a big strange rock; We saw two tall rocks leaning against each other, the waves and the wind blowing, and the surface of the stones was quite smooth. There is enough space between the two stones to accommodate people, and the ground is paved with fine sand. A few feet away, the blue waves patted the roots of the rock. We told a joke at that time: it's a pity that we are all old, otherwise we must sit down in this gap and talk about love stories for a long time.

These strange stones remind me of a five-character quatrain by Su Dongpo, entitled "Elephant Ear Mountain":

An abrupt pass is empty, and other mountains are always inferior. Look at the stones on the side of the road, which are full of relics!
