In fact, Tathagata wanted to know the reason why the Monkey King made trouble in the Heavenly Palace and his inner thoughts by asking questions.

Other immortals only knew that the Monkey King had committed a heinous crime and wanted to destroy Wukong on behalf of the Jade Emperor. They never want to hear what the Monkey King thinks.

When Wukong heard this, he thought, "I can fly 108,000 Li with a somersault cloud, and I can't jump out of the palm of your Tathagata's hand in less than a foot?" So I confidently agreed to this gamble.

Later, this game became a classic of Journey to the West. Tathagata has been smiling and watching Wukong roll in his palm and even pee. But Wukong was so excited that he thought he had flown to the end of heaven and earth. He was afraid that the Jade Emperor would default, so he made a special mark.
