What changes have been made to F1 rules this year?

2. The scoring system has been changed from the top eight to the top ten. The new scoring system is 25-18-15-12-1-8-6-4-2-1, largely because of the addition of new teams.

3. This year, the front tire of F1 has shrunk by 25mm, and the reduced grip of the front tire has forced the center of gravity of the car to move backward again, which is good news for heavier drivers. On the other hand, it will be more difficult to warm up the front tire, and the wear of the rear tire will be aggravated. These problems need to be solved by changing the car tuning.

4. At the weekend of each Grand Prix, the number of dry tire sets allowed for each racing car is reduced from 14 sets last year to 11 sets this year. In the third quarter of qualifying, the top 1 cars were required to use the same tires as Q3 at the start of the race.

5. The minimum weight of racing car has increased from 65 kg last year to 62 kg.

6. Any driver who is punished in the race needs to stop for punishment within two laps after receiving the punishment, instead of the previous three laps.

7. Mid-season test run is still prohibited. However, new drivers who are about to participate in F1 for the first time are allowed to arrange a test time for one day before the race.

8. The change in engine rules is that only eight engines can be replaced this season, and there is no limit to the replacement at that station. However, when the ninth engine is replaced after eight engines are used up, it is necessary to leave ten places behind, whereas it was previously stipulated that it can be replaced at several stops.
