China's first animated feature film was Princess Iron Fan, which was drawn by Wan Brothers. ?

Princess Iron Fan was written by Wan Laiming, Wan Guchan and Wan Chaochen. An animated film directed by Wan Di atlas, written by Wang Ganbai and voiced by Bai Hong, Yan Yueling, Jiang Ming, Langen Han and Yin Xiucen was released in Shanghai, China in 1941.

The film tells the story that four Tang Priests and disciples went to the Western Heaven to learn Buddhist scriptures, but were blocked by the Flame Mountain for three times to borrow a banana fan.

The Wan brothers are pioneers of China fine arts films. Including Wan Guchan (1899 ~ 1995), Wan Laiming (1899 ~ 1997), Wan Chaochen (196 ~ 1992) and Wan Di atlas. Wan Guchan and Wan Laiming are twin brothers, born in Nanjing on January 18th, 1899. Wan Chaochen was also born in Nanjing.
