Brief introduction of Xiaochang economic development zone

Xiaochang Economic Development Zone 1996 was approved by the provincial people's government as a provincial development zone. The Development Zone consists of three districts: south, north and east, and governs Wang Guan, Shuangqiao, Mingxing, Beiqiao, Paifang, Dinghe, Hongfan, Shunmin, Fengxin and Chen Yu 18 administrative villages and east offices, with a population of 10249.

Xiaochang Economic Development Zone is integrated with Xiaochang County, located in the urban planning area of Xiaochang County, with 3 1 15' 00 east longitude and 0/1356'15 north latitude. Chengbei District is east to Dongshan Village, huayuan town, south to Gucheng Avenue, west to Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, north to Pengjiapo, Dongshan Village, huayuan town, Sun Jiafan, Paifang Village, huayuan town and Xujiahe, Beiqiao Village, huayuan town; Chengnan District is east to Chen Yu Village, huayuan town, Hongfan Village, huayuan town and 54672 Army Barracks, south to the south fence and Ji Geng Road of May 4th Primary School in Chen Yu Village, huayuan town, west to Beijing-Guangzhou Railway, and north to Xinlong Street and 54672 Army Barracks.

The planned area of the development zone is 6 square kilometers. According to the planning and design of Zhongnan Architectural Survey and Design Institute, the park is divided into mechanical and electronic park, biomedical park, building materials and chemical park, information industrial park, food industrial park and business science and technology park. By the end of 2005, * * * invested 840 million yuan in infrastructure construction and introduced more than 30 enterprises of various types, initially forming several leading industries, such as machinery and electronics, biomedicine, building materials and chemicals, auto parts, information and communication, food and beverage, and agricultural products processing. In 2005, the gross domestic product was 965.438 billion yuan, the total industrial output value was 65.438 billion yuan, the industrial added value was 437 million yuan, and the fiscal revenue was 365.438 billion yuan.

Up to now, the Development Zone has introduced 38 projects (27 domestic projects and 27 foreign-funded projects 1 1 each), with domestic investment of RMB 412.3 million and foreign investment of USD 4.64 million.
