How many railway stations are there in Nanchang? When will Nanchang East Station be completed?

There are five railway stations in Nanchang, namely Nanchang Station, Nanchang East Station, Nanchang West Station, Jinxian Station and Xiangtang Station. Details are as follows:

1. Nanchang Station is a very important comprehensive hub of China Railway, located at No.213, Erqi South Road, Nanchang City. It is a comprehensive railway station, different from ordinary trains, high-speed trains and bullet trains, and it is the main intersection of Changjiu Intercity Railway and Beijing-Kowloon Railway.

2. Nanchang East Station, the main transfer lines are Sannan High-speed Railway and Jinggang High-speed Railway. It is expected that several lines will be introduced, such as Changfeng-Zhanggao intercity railway. This railway station forms a tripartite confrontation with Nanchang West Railway Station and Nanchang Railway Station.

3. Nanchang West Railway Station is the first high-speed railway station in Nanchang, a first-class station and a very important transportation hub in Nanchang.

4. Jinxian Station, this is the third-class station. From Jinxian Station, you can go to Guangzhou, Xiamen, Chongqing, Shanghai and other cities.

5. Xiangtang Station, built in 1935, is a very important marshalling station of Nanchang Railway Bureau. The specific location is in front of Xiangtang Town Station Road, which belongs to the jurisdiction of China Railway Nanchang Bureau Group Co., Ltd.

Nanchang East Station is expected to be completed in May 2023 and put into operation in September 2023. However, this is only an estimated time, and the specific opening time still needs to be subject to official news. The demolition of Nanchang East Station was officially started on 20 19. Now the geological survey of this project has been successfully completed, and the preliminary construction work is about to begin.
