chapter I general provisions article 1 these regulations are formulated in accordance with the highway law of the people's Republic of China and other relevant laws and regulations, and in light of the actual situation of this municipality, in order to strengthen road administration, ensure sound, safe and smooth highways and adapt to economic and social development. Article 2 These Regulations shall apply to the road administration of national trunk highways, autonomous regional trunk highways, county-level highways and township-level highways (hereinafter referred to as national highways, provincial highways, county roads and township roads) within the administrative area of this Municipality. (7) investigate and deal with all kinds of illegal acts such as encroachment, destruction and pollution of highway property;

(8) Other duties as stipulated by laws and regulations. Article 6 Highway properties are protected by state laws, and no unit or individual may occupy or destroy them. (9) other damages to road property. Article 8 The following areas outside the outer edges of ditches on both sides of highways are building control areas:

(1) The national highway is not less than 2m;

(2) the provincial highway is not less than 15m;

(3) the county road is not less than 1m;

(4) the township road is not less than 5 meters.
