How to retrieve your WeChat password if you forget it?

If you forget your WeChat password and want to retrieve it, you can follow the following steps:

Tools/Materials: iPhone14, IOS16.1.2, WeChat 8.0.35.

1. After opening WeChat, enter the account login interface and select "Retrieve Password" at the bottom.

2. After entering the password retrieval, find the "Appeal to retrieve WeChat account password" column.

3. After entering the appeal, click "Start Appeal".

4. If you don’t remember the WeChat ID, check “I don’t remember the WeChat ID”. If you remember the WeChat ID, fill in the WeChat ID, and then fill in the mobile phone number when registering under the previous relationship. Finally, fill in the current mobile phone number in the available mobile phone number.

5. After filling in the above items, the system will ask you to use the new mobile phone number to send a text message, select "Send text message immediately".

6. After clicking to send the text message immediately, use the new mobile phone number to enter "ZM" in the information bar, and then click to send.

7. After the text message is sent successfully, enter the final step of appeal and fill in the information. After the information is verified and correct, the appeal will be successful. The system will send a new WeChat ID and new password, and then log in.
